HRHC Advocacy & Regional Priorities Committee

The HRHC Advocacy & Regional Priorities Committee advances the Consortium’s role as a trusted, nonpartisan regional voice on housing across Hampton Roads. Grounded in the HRHC 2026–2028 Strategic Plan, the committee focuses on aligning members around shared housing priorities, strengthening regional understanding of housing challenges, and building the capacity of members to effectively engage in advocacy.

Through collaboration across sectors—including local government, nonprofit organizations, housing developers, financial institutions, and academia—the committee works to elevate evidence-based solutions and ensure that housing remains a central component of regional economic mobility and community well-being.
